Gladys ditches Police Officer's funeral for photo op bushwalk with Boy Minister Matt Kean.
Friday, 15 January 2021
Yesterday, NSW Police officer Senior Constable Kelly Foster was laid to rest with a full police honours funeral.
Senior Constable Foster died trying to save a woman swept away in the Blue Mountains.
Her actions were heroic.
It’s to the credit of Commissioner Mick Fuller that a full honours funeral was held for this officer.
The entire town of Lithgow shut down as a mark of respect.
Normally the political hierarchy would attend such an event as a statement of support for our police.
Not yesterday.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian didn’t show up.
Instead, she was nearby in the Blue Mountains on a photo-opportunity bushwalk with green boy minister Matt Kean to help sell his ultra-environmentalist agenda.
Gladys and Kean are left faction buddies and closely aligned with the disgraced Michael Photios - the leader of the left.
It shows her appalling judgement and disrespect towards Police.
Some things will be hard for the ranks to forget.
RIP Senior Constable Foster.
