Why is Q+A moving to 8.30pm on Thursday nights?

The move to 8.30pm Thursdays will ensure greater visibility and accessibility of this flagship ABC News program at a more audience-friendly time. Monday nights will remain the home of Australian stories and investigations, led by Australian Story and Four Corners. Thursdays will become a destination for compelling original journalism and discussion of the big issues, with Q+A in primetime and Back Roads and Foreign Correspondent sharing the 8pm timeslot – showcasing stories and characters from around Australia and the world.
