The fundamental ethos of the Army is about teamwork and unit cohesion. 

So what if people in the army are gay?  Why make a big deal about it?

Why can't they just be treated normally like everyone else?

These 'days' are supposed to foster inclusiveness and acceptance.

I think their time has come and gone.  We just make being gay a drama by making a song-and-dance about it.

Give it a break Army and get on with the soldiering.
