ABC fails to answer Senate query about what checks it made into its contractor SULLIVAN's criminal background

The mish-mash of other people's video ABC 4 Corners cobbled together for its anti-Trump polemic

On Monday 1 February, ABC 4 Corners broadcast "Downfall - The Last Days of President Trump".

The ABC tells us it was important they broadcast that episode, because:

On January 6, the most sacred symbol of American democracy (The Congress) was stormed by supporters of Donald Trump, unleashing violence and destruction.

That day, incited by the outgoing President, the most sacred symbol of American democracy was stormed by an angry mob unleashing violence and destruction.

Ironic then that the ABC paid John Earle Sullivan for his video record of the riots - when Sullivan himself has actually been charged with criminal offences relating to his "conduct intended to impede, disrupt or disturb the orderly conduct of  The Congress".

That's not Trump who's facing criminal charges.

The person actually charged with disrupting the Congress is the ABC's sub-contractor SULLIVAN.

Taxpayers should be outraged.

Why are we funding hoodlums in foreign countries via the ABC?

It's not like the ABC was starved for content in its old-news Trump hatchet-job.

Here is the list of video providers ABC 4 Corners cobbled together to make its program.

One month after the riots there was nothing new to uncover - it'd all been published or broadcast by others as the list above shows.

And all of it apparently available for free - I doubt the ABC paid Donald Trump Jr for his video contribution.

So much old news, rehashed from so many sources - yet the ABC knowingly chose to pay an indicted felon for his "special" video record of his crimes against The Congress.

For a show ostensibly about President Trump inciting the disruption of The Congress.

And Australian taxpayers foot the bill.

Why do we tolerate the ABC?
