One of the downsides to living on an island is that there are a few 'single points of failure' in the supply line.

Just about everyone here has a diesel generator that cuts in when the power goes out.  They get quite the workout!

But when the internet goes - there's no magic replacement!

I've had quite the journey to find somewhere with internet that works.
