Ive seen the same thing here in Adelaide at a protest march before Christmas. I thought there were maybe 8,000 people there. The media called it a small crowd of a "couple of hundred" and showed footage of the crowd taken about an hour before the rally started and the majority had turned up. The organizer of the Freedom Convoy 2022 says @GoFundMe has agreed to release funds donated to their cause. It has raised $6.3 million from more than 81,000 contributions. The convoy says the money will go to fuel, food, lodging expenses, with any surplus to veterans' groups.
