House Speaker confirms AFP deployed Long Range Acoustic Devices at Canberra protest

The Speaker says LRADS were present but were not used in an offensive capacity.

Apparently according to the AFP the LRADs were only used to speak with the protesters.

Nicely.

LRADS, when a megaphone just won't cut it.
