Congratulations to the magnificent Senator-elect Jacinta Nampijinpa Price

I had a visit from my big brother today. He came to tell me how proud he is that his little sister is set to become a Senator for the NT.

Our grandparents first saw whitefellas when they were in their early adolescence. They experienced incredible change in a short period of time. They overcame adversity by being part of change and embracing it even when it was difficult.

We Warlpiri just like my Celtic ancestors are warriors and we pride ourselves on supporting the voiceless ones. As modern Australians we take pride in our country and it’s people of many backgrounds.

The hard work now begins and my promise to Australia is that I will continue to be a voice of common sense for the benefit of us all. The elites might have captured our country but the regions will not be silenced! We have far too much at stake!
