The 'Women in Liberal Party' campaigner who won't back Conservative Women

Charlotte Mortlock was an underwhelming reporter for SkyNews before she figured out there was more money in doing PR for a politician.

She worked for waste of space Liberal Leftist Senator Andrew Bragg until they were kicked out office.

Today, she still draws a taxpayer salary working for Michael McCormack but at the same time is hooked deep into Factional Politics of the Liberal Party.

She runs Hilma's Network - a cosy little club of women who complain that the Liberal Party needs quotas for them to get ahead.

It’s really just a front for the Liberal Left faction.

She carries on ahead of every pre-selection about the need for more women in the ranks.

So, who did she back for last weekend’s Liberal Senate Preselection?

Interesting question.

There were several talented women in the running but they didn’t attract the Hilda’s advocacy.

They mostly came from the wrong faction - mostly Conservative.

So who did Brave Charlotte back in?

Hard to know exactly but she was heard making sure people knew she supported Dave Sharma - who of course is from the Left of the Liberals (the so-called Moderates).

Get the feeling that Hilma's is about women of the left … not all women.
