Miss Purr gets witness protection treatment by Courier Mail

Thanks to reader Andrew for the tip - he writes:
Hi Michael,I write to you again from the land of bountiful diversity dividends.Strange things have been happening at Marsden State High School where a teacher has been spoken to by the school principal after asking the students to refer to “them” as “Miss Purr,” licking the back of ‘their’ hands, wearing a cat ears headband, and hissing at them if they asked a question or didn’t listen. The children are somewhat confused, and the brave ones even bark at the teacher when walking by.But there is also strangeness afoot at The Courier-Mail where despite no court action in progress (and I’m quite sure it’s not illegal to pretend to be a cat), the teacher has been given the full witness protection treatment and is also not named. But while the front of the face is pixelated out, this thoughtful consideration didn’t quite extend to the neck stubble, nor the rainbow coloured lanyard ribbon. It’s as if ‘they’ have friends to protect them and their less than purrfect community from embarrassment.AndrewFirst article 8 Feb: https://archive.md/dX8QjUpdated article today: https://archive.md/FP5vxAsking about this on CM’s Facebook page is verboten, deemed to be “hate speech”.
