More begging from Labor - twice in one day!

Comrade, the fight begins --

Tonight, Dr Jim Chalmers and the Federal Labor Government delivered the last Budget until Australians head to the polls in May.

Australians are facing a clear choice: Labor's plan to build a better future, or Dutton's scheme to cut everything.

Comrade, can we count on your support to help us win re-election?

In this Budget we've announced:

  • Providing more tax cuts for every taxpayer
  • $1.8bn into additional energy bill relief for every household and small business
  • $8.5bn into more bulk billing to help Australians see a GP for free
  • $657.9 million to open 50 additional Medicare Urgent Care Clinics
  • Capping the cost of PBS medicines to $25
  • $3bn into completing the NBN
  • Banning non-compete clauses for low and middle-income earners to boost workers’ wages
  • $2.6bn to provide pay rises to aged-care workers.
  • Fully funding public schools in NSW.

This Budget helps Australian families with the cost of living, while keeping inflation down.

This is a budget that, as a member of the Federal Labor Government, I am proud of.

But now we need to re-elect the Federal Labor Government - so we can continue delivering for all Australians.

We know that Australians have been doing it tough.

Only Labor will look after hardworking Australians through cheaper medicine, cheaper childcare, HECS relief, tax cuts, and more.

And only Labor will deliver on these key reforms.

But we need your help.

Will you chip in today to help Labor deliver for Australians?

These are key reforms that Australian families can’t afford to put at risk under Dutton.

Dutton and the Liberals may not have announced much, but what they have announced would set Australia back.

Dutton has already put 36,000 jobs and public services on the line.

We already know that he needs $600 billion to pay for his nuclear energy scheme - and that money has to come from somewhere. Its' regular Australians who will pay. That means taxes will go up, childcare costs will go up, healthcare costs will go up, medicine costs will go up, and HECS debt and TAFE fees will go up.

This has the potential to hurt Australian families even more.

We can’t risk Peter Dutton in the Lodge.

Comrade, will you donate to our campaign, and help us fight Dutton's scheme to cut key services?

Labor governments help working people.

Together we have achieved so much, some of the key accomplishments of the Federal Labor Government in its first term include:

  • Cheaper childcare and Free TAFE to ensure every Australian has access to education and opportunity.
  • A $300 energy bill rebate to help with the cost of living.
  • Tax cuts for working Australians, putting money back in your pocket.
  • Increased the minimum wage and created laws for multi-employer bargaining to give workers more power at the negotiating table.
  • Introduced Medicare Urgent Care Clinics, making healthcare more accessible for those who need it most.
  • The National Anti-Corruption Commission, ensuring accountability and transparency in government.
  • Starting the largest housing build in Australian history, building 1.2 million homes in five years.

I'm immensely proud of the Budget we've delivered tonight.

I'm proud of the work we've done to create opportunity, invest in our people, and build Australia's future.

Thank you for your support tonight.
