Wild moment at the VHSL Class 3 State Indoor Meet. A runner in the girls’ 4x200 relay clubs an opponent in the head with a baton mid-race. Both teams were disqualified. @milesplit #TrackandField pic.twitter.com/KDwEjUZm5X

Comrade --
Happy International Women's Day from us at NSW Labor!
This year's theme is 'Accelerate Action' - emphasising the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158 to reach full gender parity - roughly five generations from now.
And while there is still a long way to go, we at NSW Labor are immensely proud of the way we're helping women across the State and the country.
Some of our achievements include:
- Significant investments in cheaper childcare, expanding paid parental leave, and women's health.
- Ensuring Yaz® and Yasmin® are available on the PBS - saving women $250 - $350 a year.
- $5000 emergency grants for domestic abuse victims.
- Delivering a regular survey to hear directly from women about their concerns and priorities for gender equality.
In this year's Federal Election campaign, we have some amazing candidates, who we're proud to have join our ranks:
Julie Cunningham - Candidate for Calare
Tu Le - Candidate for Fowler
Louise McCallum - Candidate for Bradfield
Carol Berry - Candidate for Whitlam
Ash Ambihaipahar - Candidate for Barton
Savanna Peake - Candidate for Wentworth
Laura Hughes - Candidate for New England
Hollie McLean - Candidate for Lindsay
Celine Varghese-Fell - Candidate for Warringah
These candidates have what it takes to deliver for women across NSW, but we need your help on Election Day to get them across the line.
Thank you, and have a great weekend.

Because Therapeutic Albanese is actually doing something useful …
It’s an AI fake going around on the internet, undoubtedly being pushed by Labor hipsters at HQ.
This is what a prime Minister looks like who actually does things to help people:
But they mock Tony Abbott.
Hi, I’m Savanna and I’m Labor’s Candidate for Wentworth this election!
I’m 30, a proud lesbian woman and a former public educator. I’m running because Labor deserves a strong progressive voice in Wentworth.
I’ll be out and about in Wentworth in the coming days and weeks and would love to meet you!
If you see me, make sure to come and say hello.
See you soon Wentworth!
Savanna

Three ABC in the one room.
The commercial, self funded broadcasters, do a better job and more efficiently … and people actually watch commercial TV - unlike ABC.
